Open bunkers

Just finished four open bunkers for my german SS. The bases are old student cards (credit card size) cut in half, the rest is styrofoam, filler and matches, no surprises there.

Desert Gameboard

For my 6mm ww2 tanks I have decided to focus on the african campaign, and as such I needed some desert to play on, said and done, this is my humble 24x24" gameboard. Perfect for "song of..." and DBA etc.

The water is vallejos "still water", additionally there is a lot of sand and filler in there as well as some static yellow grass and army painters "swamp tufts". Underneath is four furniture paws, and the obligatory black duct tape to frame everything in!

I'll add two removeable bridges later, one for 6mm gaming and one for 28mm.

Spotted the tiger tank yet?

Tiny tanks

I have managed to get some paint on those 1/300 ww2 tanks I showed a while ago. The weirdest thing happened when I was finished, they had multiplyed!
Anyway, here they are, first the angry germans:

And the british, I am not sure about the camo on these chaps, but according to a picture of a matilda tank I an quite sure they look somewhat like they did there in Libya some decades ago:

I am working on a version of the "song of..." rules to use with these tanks together with a friend, I'll post them here when they are finished.

Tiny houses!

I have made 8-9 of these houses for 15mm, but I actually think they came out i bit too small, perhaps they'll work anyway if I place them in a small village next to other slightly bigger houses.
They are made of styrofoam with wall filler pasted on, and small pieces of cardboard as the roof, windows and doors.
